The Gramophon Salon is a cute “kawai”, kitsch kiosk tiled entirely with 78rpm records, complete with tables, chairs and parasols. It is a delightful addition to any outdoors event.
Featuring a gorgeous selection of antique record players, spinning shellac 78rpm records playing jazz and popular tunes from the '20s thru to the '50s. With Japanese girls in kimonos serving green tea in traditional Japanese tea cups thus creating a wonderfully relaxed ambience, a peaceful oasis.
Participation from guests / the public is actively encouraged making the “salon” an inclusive event suitable for all ages. Past events include.. Paradise Gardens (London), Glastonbury Festival, Manchester Feast and Fuji Rock.
